What is a Sunday Service Like?
Our Sunday morning services revolve around live worship and Biblical teaching so that you can focus on glorifying God. We have two opportunities for your family to worship on Sunday morning. We have a 8:30am & 11:00am service designed to help your family choose a time to worship that best fits your schedule.
Each service lasts about an hour.
Where do my children go?
You are more than welcome to bring your kids into the Worship Center with you (but they will probably enjoy our age-level ministries so much more!). On Sunday morning, we offer special age-level ministries for kids (newborn-5th grade) and students (6th-12th grade).
Our check-in process is quick and easy. All kids ages newborn-5th grade are checked in using a secure sticker system. Our volunteers will print a sticker with a unique code for your child and for you. Please keep this sticker because it is the only way that you can pick them up. In addition, all of our adult volunteers undergo a thorough background check before they are allowed to serve with children.
We have worked hard to make sure your kids are learning how to Glorify God in a fun and safe environment.
How Do I Get to FBC?
FBC Portland gathers in-person throughout the week at 106 North Broadway, Portland, TN. You can find detailed directions here:
Where Should I Park?
When you visit our campus, you can enter onto the campus from either Highway 109, West McGlothlin Street or Church Street. When you arrive, you’ll notice there is plenty of guest parking in our front parking area. In addition, we have a large parking area in back of the building. Our parking lot attendants will be happy to direct you to a Guest Services volunteer who will be happy to show you the children’s area, classrooms and Worship Center.

What Should I Wear?
At FBC Portland you will see some of our people dressed up and some are dressed very casual. You and your family will feel comfortable at FBC no matter what you choose to wear. We have no clothing expectations.
