This CORE Seminar will look at Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus. This church was originally planted by Paul and then cared for by Priscilla and Aquila. In his letter, it is obvious that Paul loved this church and that they loved him [Acts 20:17-38]. In this study, we will see how Paul calls them to unity, and the two great functions of faith: to receive the redemption accomplished by Jesus Christ and to respond in obedience. Chapters 1–3 lay out the gospel facts, and chapters 4-6 lay out the faithful response to redemption.
