In this study, we will explore Paul’s first letter to his young disciple, Timothy, as he instructs him on the foundations of a healthy church. Written to a young pastor leading the church in Ephesus, First Timothy lays out essential truths about church leadership, sound doctrine, godly living, and the centrality of the gospel in the life of the church. This CORE seminar will examine key themes such as the qualifications for church leaders, the importance of biblical teaching, the role of prayer, the conduct of believers in the household of God, and how the church should guard itself against false teaching. Paul’s letter not only provides guidance for church leadership but also serves as a practical manual for all believers seeking to live faithfully in the midst of a changing culture.
